If we show how many we are, we could help people to change their feelings on climate change from desperation to courage and confidence. We could give people the power to start their own climate protection measures.
But above all: We would not feel alone and powerless anymore. It would bring us together. It would give us hope, strength, courage and confidence. We would feel connected all over the world - saving our planet and working for a better future.
Attention: No fight because of different point of views – conviction, not coercion should be the basis for us to protect our planet.
100 people, all speaking different languages, row together in a boat towards a waterfall. Almost everyone in the boat knows the dangerous situation. But almost everyone thinks to be the only one who knows about it. "What can I do?", everyone thinks. "To row in the other direction is useless!" And everyone indulges in the usual behaviour of the past. What would happen if suddenly everyone knew about each other - knew that everyone wanted to turn back and that they could communicate to each other?
The group would stop and turn the boat around.
The website and the connected social media pages are made by 200 pupils and teachers at an Austrian school.
The project was done as a subproject for attending the Austrian ecolabel. All items of the website were created as a school project.
We may follow different religions, differ in age and origin, but we all want to save our planet. All participants are volunteers.
